Rare white turtles found in China

It may look like a turkey that has just been skinned and ready to be roasted. But this unique animal is actually a very rare albino turtle. The turtle is found on the banks of the yellow river in Henan province, China.
White turtles have their own place in Chinese culture. The classic "trip west" novel that tells the story of Sun Go Kong and his friends once told of a god turned into a great white turtle after making a mistake.

However, unlike the characters in the novel, this white turtle is only 40 cm long and weighs 6.5 kg. His body is white and decorated with faded pink spots.
